COX EXPLORER
US emergency medical services provider Cox Air Care has ordered an MD 902 Explorer helicopter to replace its Eurocopter BO105. Cox Air, which operates from two bases in Missouri, says the aircraft will cut its response time while increasing payload. The twin-engined Explorer will be delivered with a helicopter terrain awareness and warning system, night vision devices, a health and usage monitoring system and a medical interior provided by Air Methods.
