SIKORSKY DIRECTIVE

The US Federal Aviation Administration has issued an airworthiness directive for the Sikorsky S-92A helicopter. The AD requires a one-time visual inspection of the main gearbox lube system filter assembly for oil filter damage. Operators must also replace both filters, all packings and studs before flying if either the primary or secondary oil filter is damaged.

KING AIR FOR FAA

Hawker Beechcraft has delivered four Beechcraft King Air C90GTi turboprops to the US Federal Aviation Administration. They will be used to support its flight standards programme. The twin-engined turboprops will be upgraded to the 90X configuration, which boosts the aircraft's payload and performance. The FAA has an option for two more of the turboprops.

Remos Aircraft has received a fresh injection of capital from its shareholders to help strengthen the German light sport aircraft manufacturer's position within the "challenging" light sport aircraft market. "The funding will secure the future of Remos and enable the introduction of new programmes," says the company.
