TEST CELL
Northstar Aerospace has added a Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A turboprop engine test cell at its turbine engine service facility in Stroud, Oklahoma. The facility already offers maintenance, repair and overhaul of PT6T turboshaft power sections and combining gearboxes in helicopters, as well as small and medium-size PT6A turboprop engines used in fixed-wing aircraft. "Larger PT6A engines power 29 aircraft models that we have been unable to service until now," it says.
