The first Boeing 737-700 to be delivered to German carrier Germania set a new distance record for its weight category when it flew non-stop from Seattle to Berlin on 10 March. The 8,345km (4,511nm) flight was flown in 9h 27min. Ramp weight was around 62,200kg.
