Brazil’s low-cost carrier GOL is eyeing expansion within and beyond South America’s southern cone. Over the new year it launched flights to Uruguay and Paraguay and added new routes and frequencies to Argentina. Now it is looking to expand into Bolivia, Chile, Colombia and Venezuela this year. Its network would then cover every major city in South America except Lima and Quito.
