Farnborough International Airshow (17-23 July) is expecting this year’s Business Aircraft Park to be the largest yet.
The organisers, Farnborough International Limited (FIL) report growing interest that could see the number of aircraft on static display treble the size of the original area in 2004.
For 2006, FIL has relocated the park to a new and more central location to make it more accessible from the main exhibition area.
The park will again be a “show within a show”, taking place over three-days (Mon 17 to Wed
19 July). During this time, exhibitors will be able to host customers in a dedicated reception building or support structure near their display and take customers for demonstration flights.
FIL director of exhibitions Amanda Stainer said: “Farnborough generates a different clientele to the established and specific business aviation conferences and is entirely complementary. In addition to the corporate aviation market, a large number of military and civil delegations and senior industrialists from around the globe visit the show.”
Full details of the exhibiting aircraft will be released later this month when all applications have been processed.
