The first test flight of the indigenously developed Indian Geostationary Satellite Launch Vehicle (GSLV) will be made in February next year, says the Indian Space Research Organisation. The GSLV may launch two Insat satellites later in the year. India also plans to develop a new weather satellite, Metsat, for launch in October.
