Middle Eastern carrier Gulf Air has accepted the resignation of chief executive Maher Salman Al Musallam.
Al Musallam has been in the role for one year since assuming the position in May 2016. Prior to taking up the company's leadership, he served as the acting chief executive from late 2012.
“I extend my sincerest thanks to [Al Musallam] for his invaluable contributions and achievements delivered during his tenure with the airline," says Gulf Air chairman Zayed Bin Rashid Alzayani.
