Transgulf Express, the Middle East's first low-cost carrier, will launch services this year from Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates with three secondhand, CFM International CFM56-5-powered Airbus A320s leased from GATX. They will be flown to Middle Eastern and Indian destinations. Transgulf plans to lease three more A320s by year-end.
