Gulfstream Aerospace has completed the purchase of K-C Aviation for $250 million.

The acquisition allows the company to expand its aircraft completions, maintenance and parts business, and establishes Gulfstream as a major player in the aircraft engine service market.

K-C has facilities in Texas, Wisconsin and Massachusetts, which now complement Gulfstream's existing operations in Georgia, California, Oklahoma and Mexico.

The company plans to use the new facilities to speed completions of its GulfStream IV-SP and V aircraft.
