Gulfstream.com has now clocked up two sales of aircraft, says Joe Walker, the firm's senior vice-president sales and marketing. "We have had a great response to the site and sold a used aircraft and a new GV," says Walker. "I believe that this will greatly help the sales."

Walker says the sales team has benefited by getting prospective customers to open up the web site while they are talking on the phone.

"This lets us answer some quite complex technical questions and show things like interiors while we are talking. It really can speed up the process."
