GULFSTREAM MATED THE WING and fuselage of the first Gulfstream V long-range business jet on 24 July at its Savannah, Georgia, plant. The wing arrived by rail from supplier Northrop Grumman on 18 July and was mated to the Gulfstream-produced fuselage within a week. The Fokker-built tail will be added in early August. First flight is due in November.
