Gulfstream has received US certification for the G500 ultra-long-range business jet. The $37.5 million aircraft is a reduced-specification, 10,700km (5,800nm) range version of the G550 (formerly GV-SP). The G500 has the same PlaneView advanced flightdeck as the G550 and the long-range, $33 million G450, a development of the G400 (formerly GIV-SP) scheduled for certification in the third quarter of next year. Deliveries of the G500 begin early next year.
