Gulfstream Aerospace has received full US certification for the Gulfstream V long-range business jet. Provisional certification was granted in December 1996, pending completion of flight testing, allowing deliveries of "green" GVs to begin. The first completed GVs are due to enter service in the second quarter of 1997. Gulfstream had delivered nine GVs to its Savannah, Georgia, completion centre by the end of March. It says that it has firm orders for 70.
