The firm started in 1980 with just two employees and a telephone line and now has 100 staff, a 1,000-strong customer base and four offices around the world.
Hadid supplies a range of specialist services, including landing permits, ground handling services, fuelling and flight planning. More recently, the firm has moved into a range of aviation services including, aircraft leasing and purchase, passenger, cargo and VIP charter.
To mark the anniversary, Hadid is one of the show’s sponsors. Hadid chairman Baha Hadid says: “Sponsoring Dubai 2005 gives us the unique opportunity to celebrate our 25 years of business together with our partners and customers at the region’s leading aviation event.
“It also allows us to demonstrate to our prime audience how we can support them with their most critical business issues; from how to reduce costs for fuel and aircraft handling, to how to execute flight planning and operations more efficiently.”
He adds: “More importantly, it enables us to build awareness of our brand on a global scale rather than being perceived purely as a Middle East company.
“We are currently looking to expand into new markets and are assessing a number of opportunities across Europe, Africa and the Far East where we can take advantage of the emergence of new airlines and charter operators.”
