Raytheon has delivered a Hawker 800XP to Haikou-based Hainan Airlines, the first Hawker business jet to enter service in China. Hainan will use the aircraft, and a Beechjet 400A delivered by Raytheon in February, for charter operations. Meanwhile, Raytheon Aircraft Services is to expand its maintenance centres in Atlanta, Georgia, and Tampa, Florida, to handle Hawker business jets, including the new super mid-size Horizon, due to enter service in 2001.
