Hamburg Chile Airlines is operating charter flights between Santiago and several Caribbean destinations using a Boeing 737-700 leased from Hamburg International Airlines. The airline, a joint venture between the German carrier and two Chilean businessmen, is operating on behalf of the Chilean arm of Spanish tour operator Iberojet. The 737-700 - one of three operated by Hamburg International - is due to be returned in March and may be replaced by a leased or purchased 737-300, says the airline.
