China Southern Airlines has received the first two Embraer ERJ-145s assembled under licence in China by Harbin Embraer Aircraft Industry. The aircraft are the first of six ERJ-145s the Guangzhou-based airline will receive up to next January. This is the only order taken so far by the Chinese operation, but it expects at least one more by year-end.
