After 11 September, all airlines took a hammering on passenger numbers and profits. British Airways was criticised for being too political. It operated routes unprofitably for years and was overstaffed. I think Rod Eddington is doing a great job as BA's chief executive and that the airline will survive the current harsh aviation conditions. Perhaps the chief executives of certain US airlines need to learn from BA.
