The first UK-based, commercially operated Raytheon Hawker 800XP business jet has been approved to fly into London City airport, where the 5.5º approach is unusually steep.
Biggin Hill-based charter and management company Markoss Aviation UK will operate the aircraft. Markoss, under a new ownership structure, is embarking on an ambitious expansion strategy that includes in the short term adding further managed aircraft to its fleet and later the acquisition of light-cabin aircraft, to support the burgeoning demand for charter services within the UK.
