Raytheon Aircraft has introduced the Hawker 850XP, the latest version of its mid-size business jet with new winglets and other improvements. The Raytheon-designed canted, composite winglets extend range by 4%, or 185km (100nm), reduce time to climb and increase block speeds. Meanwhile, the super mid-size Hawker Horizon is renamed the Hawker 4000.

The scheduled maintenance interval for the Hawker 850XP, which replaces the improved 800XPi introduced earlier this year, has been doubled to 600h, with only a detailed walk-round inspection required at 300h. The 850XP retains the 800XPi’s expanded Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 integrated avionics and Airshow 21 cabin management system.

At this week’s National Business Aviation Association show in Orlando, Florida, Raytheon has also introduced upgrades for Pro Line 21-equipped Beechcraft Premier Is and Hawker 800XPs.
