Hebei Aviation Investment Group has inked an agreement with the Commercial Aircraft Corp of China (Comac) to purchase 10 Comac ARJ21 regional jets.
The deal was signed on 25 November in Hebei province. The delivery date of the aircraft and the financials details of the deal were not disclosed.
The aircraft will likely be used by Hebei Airlines, whose majority stock shares are held by Hebei Aviation Investment Group, said a Comac official when contacted.
He added that Comac has also signed an agreement with the Hebei government to set up a customer service support centre in the province.

It was reported in August that two key components in the flight test programme of the ARJ21 had not been completed and that would likely lead to a delay in the type certification and delivery of the aircraft.
The Chinese manufacturer previously said it is striving to receive type certification for the aircraft by the year-end, which is also the same time launch customer Chengdu Airlines is due to receive its first ARJ21.
