Heico reports that it has completed its $43 million acquisition of the McClain engine parts business, but has walked away from its $15 million cash deal to buy privately owned PTM, saying that all talks have ended. Last month Heico announced that it was unable to gain control of French ground equipment group Teleflex-Lionel- Dupont, in what would have been its biggest deal to date, doubling the group's size.
