Toronto-based Atlantis Systems International plans to develop helicopter deck-landing simulators using technology licensed from the Canadian Department of National Defence. The company's technology uses virtual-reality headgear and electronic motion drives to provide simulated visual, aural and motion cues replicating both ship and helicopter movement during a deck landing at sea.
