Dutch group Stork has signed a letter of intent to acquire the aerospace assets of bankrupt helicopter landing gear supplier SP Aerospace & Vehicle Systems. NH Industries - in which Stork is a partner - had been anxiously awaiting the outcome of the talks as SP Aerospace supplies the undercarrriage for its NH90 helicopter (Flight International, 24-30 August). Stork says it is "carrying out a feasibility investigation into these activities, and expects to reach a final decision shortly".
