UNC Aviation Services has received a $19 million contract to provide helicopter flight-training services at the US Army's Fort Rucker, Alabama. If four contract options are exercised, the total value of the contract will grow to $102 million. UNC won the work over eight other bidders. The rotary-wing flight-training support services include classroom instruction, simulator training, and flights in the Bell Helicopter Textron TH-67 trainer. UNC will provide the necessary equipment and materials and manage the services for the work.
