New Zealand Helicopter Emergency Services has taken delivery of its first Airbus Helicopters H145s.
The two rotorcraft are the first examples of the medium-twin in the New Zealand market to be delivered in an emergency medical services configuration, says Airbus Helicopters.
They will be used to provide vital medical services to communities between Christchurch and Dunedin, the manufacturer adds.
Cirium’s Fleets Analyzer indicates that the two helicopters are registered ZK-IGI and ZK-IDH, and have serial numbers 20223 and 20271, respectively.
There are currently 41 H145-family helicopters operating in New Zealand, which are deployed for search-and-rescue, business aviation, utility, and aeromedical missions.
