Bell Helicopter has racked up its first commercial sale in Vietnam, with an order for a pair of 505 Jet Ranger X light-singles.
The purchase agreement, signed by state-owned Vietnam Helicopter and its subsidiary Northern Vietnam Helicopter (VNH North), for utility transport missions.
No delivery dates or contract value were provided, however.
“We are confident that the versatility and state-of-the-art technology in the new Bell 505 will enable us to continue to serve our customers across many industries in a safe, reliable and efficient manner and support the expansion our business globally,” says Do Xuan Hoa, director of VNH North.
Bell has a single example of the 505 on its Singapore static display.
