The UK's main civil rotorcraft show, Helitech 2003, took place on 23-25 September at Duxford near Cambridge. Exhibitor numbers were down by five on 2001 to 245, which in turn was down 12% on 1999. The organisers polled exhibitors over a planned move to the Excel centre in east London to boost numbers. The static display featured 38 helicopters with just four demonstration machines, including the Bell/Agusta Aerospace AB139 and Sikorsky S-92.
