Sir - As a mature university student in my final year, and an ex-Woman's Royal Air Force air-traffic controller/operations, ground stewardess/flight attendant and civilian operations controller private pilots' licence, I am researching for my degree dissertation, initially entitled "A history of women in aviation".

I want to cover air and ground support from pre-First World War to present day - worldwide, war/peacetime, civil and military, combatant/non-combatant, the development of commercial airlines - pilots/flight attendants and their primary roles, air traffic and radar control, astronauts/cosmonauts, other ground support, anecdotes, etc.

Any information/photographs will be appreciated (and acknowledged). All photographs will be returned.
