The Israeli air force is to equip its Israel Aircraft Industries Heron unmanned air vehicles with an advanced electro-optical payload currently used on its Raytheon Beech 200 King Air platforms. The service’s Machatz 1 configuration Heron has an endurance of over 40h and an operational ceiling of 30,000ft (9,150m).
