Dassault Falcon Jet sales for 1998 are likely to reach between 50 and 60 aircraft, says president Jean Rosanvallon. "It could be the second most successful year in our history," he adds. The company saw a record year in 1997, with a total of 98 orders. Rosanvallon admits that delivery delays have increased to almost 20 months, but says that production rates have been continually increased, from 40 aircraft in 1996 to 55 in 1997 and up to 70 this year. Around 12 aircraft have been sold already this year - half of which were Falcon 2000s.
