Thomas Hirschmann has stepped down as chairman of Jet Aviation parent company Hirschmann Industrial Holding. The move was part of a long-planned boardroom shake-up, says the company, to comply with the guidelines and recommendations of the Swiss code of best practice for corporate governance. Hirschmann, who had been on the board since 1984, has been replaced by former Crossair chairman Moritz Suter, although he retains his position as chief executive of Jet Aviation Group. Eugen David and Heinz Kohli have also resigned, although the latter will continue to serve as chief operating officer at Jet Aviation. Four new members join Suter on the board.
