Honeywell principal engineer Curt Grey believes the company has created its most eye-catching and exciting Farnborough display to date (Hall 1 Stand A15).
"We like to think we offer such a broad range of products that we always try to create some show-stoppers," he says. "We like to bring things to the show that people haven't seen before."
"We've got the 907 Turbofan Engine here and it's the first time we shown a cutaway version anywhere in the world. We're showing environmental control systems and a ‘nose to tail' display which is helpful for illustrating precisely what we do."
On-line
Honeywell is also broadening its on-line support service, which Grey says is creating a lot of interest.
"We're showing our high speed e-connection service on the display – people will not have seen this before.
"Customers will be able to go on-line to find out how their order is progressing here at the show.
"I'd say that Farnborough is our most significant aerospace event.
"I've been coming here since 1980 and it's always been a great show for us."
