Life preservers that keep babies completely dry and lightweight vests that could reduce fuel consumption are introduced by Hoover Industries on stand D405.
The Miami-based life vest and raft manufacturer recently agreed a deal to supply Russia’s Aeroflot operator with infant life preservers for its forthcoming Airbus fleet.
Hoover Industries’ Javier Maudet says: “The waterproof capsules provide total protection from hypothermia once the infant is strapped in place.”
The company also makes adult life vests, which weigh a third less than conventional jackets.
