Monty Orangeball reports that recent attendees at the AIAA Powered Lift Conference (apparently mistaken by one hapless delegate for a nearby Viagra symposium) heard from a speaker that not all the noise coming from a Harrier is caused by the engine. "This is a picture of an RAF Harrier GR7 that landed on the deck of our carrier. You can tell he is an RAF pilot because there is still a whining noise after the Pegasus has shut down. A second pointer is the way he's struggling to lift his wallet and get out of the cockpit." (Much mirth all-round)
