Huaxia’s first Bombardier CRJ200. The airline is based in Guiyang, China

Chinese start-up carrier Huaxia Airlines has taken delivery of its first Bombardier CRJ200 ahead of its planned launch this week.

The new privately-owned regional jet operator, which is also known as China Express Airlines, is leasing the aircraft from Shandong Airlines. According to Flight’s ACAS database the CRJ200 is owned by GE Commercial Aviation Services.

Chinese civil aviation officials have said the carrier will be leasing three CRJ200s from Shandong, which will also supply pilots and other personnel.
