Bell Helicopter says it is seeing "significant interest" in the new 210 medium utility helicopter unveiled by CEO Mike Redenbaugh at Heli-Expo earlier this year.

The 210, a civil-certificated version of the UH-1H Huey, is expected to complete certification by the middle of next year and will come with a price tag of about $3 million.

It takes a refurbished UH-1H fuselage and adds dynamic components from the Bell 212. These include the main rotor hub and blades, tail rotor, main and tail rotor support structure, transmission, rotating controls and tail boom.
