Dr Charles "Chuck" Krumm has been appointed manager of the Hughes Aircraft Radar and Communications Systems division's Gallium Arsenide Operations site in Torrance, California. He was formerly manager of the RCS Microwave/Millimeter Wave Monolithic Integrated Circuits programme team. Before joining Hughes in 1976, he was with Raytheon's research division.
