International Aero Engines will mark the delivery of its 1,000th V2500 engine today in a celebration ceremony at the show. The engine is being delivered to Lufthansa. The ceremony will cap what is proving to be an exciting year for IAE. The company has clocked up six new customers this year and secured orders worth $5.7 billion - a record. The most recent win is the British Airways order to power its new Airbus narrowbody fleet.
