International Aero Engines (IAE) has won a launch customer for the V2500-A5 on the Airbus A319, with ILFC's selection of the power plant for its latest Airbus narrow-body orders. The selection covers up to six A319s, seven high-gross-weight A321-200s and five unspecified narrow-body options signed by ILFC at the end of 1994, as well as eight A320s ordered earlier in the year.
