A Beriev A-50 (modified Iluyshin Il-76) that was intended to be equipped with an Israel Aircraft Industries Phalcon airborne early warning system for China will soon be flown to Beijing. The move is part of a compensation agreement signed in February between the Chinese and Israeli governments.
