Israeli defence minister Yitzhak Mordechai has approved a new 10-year plan for Israel Aircraft Industries (IAI), which charges the state-owned group to expand its international partnerships. The plan also emphasises continued development of the satellite and launcher business, as well as the need to cultivate civil markets to make up half of IAI's sales. The plan predicts that the group will breach the $2 billion sales mark by 2000.
