IATA is to challenge the European Commission's passenger rights regulation in the UK courts as the first step towards a hearing in the European Court of Justice. The move is supported by mainline and regional industry bodies the AEA and ERA, but the low-cost ELFAA lobby group plans a separate action. The regulations are due to come into force next February.
