Abu Dhabi-based National Targets Establishment (NTE) will deliver the first of its Al Shabah aerial targets to the United Arab Emirates armed forces next month. The delta wing target is fitted with a rear-mounted pusher 19kW (26hp) engine and is capable of speeds higher than 160kt (300km/h), says NTE. The company plans to develop further target systems and unmanned air vehicles.
