IFE Services has appointed Andy McEwan as managing director.
Based at IFE Services' headquarters in Cheshire, UK, McEwan will be responsible for the company's operations globally, focusing on business development, strategy and growth.
Prior to joining IFE Services, McEwan held senior management and financial roles with Fujitsu in the UK, Oracle Corp in Asia Pacific and E.piphany across Europe and the Middle East.
"Andy [McEwan's] very strong business and personal skills are exactly what we need at this stage of the company's evolution and we know that he will play a significant role in our future success," says IFE Services CEO Mark Hogg.
Separately, IFE Services recently announced it will supply Hellenic Imperial Airways with its entire in-flight entertainment content on the airline's new Athens to Johannesburg route.
IFE Services will provide the Athens-based airline with blockbuster and classic movies plus a selection of TV programmes for adults and children. Hellenic entertains passengers with drop-down IFE systems.
