Illusion Aircraft has begun taxi trials of its re-engined Mainbrace heavy transport. The fully-aerodynamic combined fuel-and-power egg which replaces the original turbofans will improve both the performance and range of the Mainbrace, according to chief engineer Ivan Edaikh.
