Imagesat hopes to raise around $30 million through a bond issue in the Israeli market. The Israeli company urgently needs the $30 million to cover the launch of Eros B, its second imaging satellite. This satellite is scheduled for launch in April by a Russian booster. The Eros B satellite – which will orbit the earth at an altitude of 480km, weighs around 250kg and will have a monochromatic imaging resolution of approximately 1m – is currently being tested before being shipped to Russia.
