Israel Military Industries (IMI) and Rafael have joined forces to develop precision long-range air-to-surface missiles.
No details of the new systems have been released, but the pair appear to be concentrating on extended-range systems based on the Israeli companies' existing products. IMI offers its Delilah platform for a number of roles, while Rafael is manufacturing the Popeye television-guided air-to-surface missile.
Delilah is being evaluated by the US Navy.
