Raisbeck Engineering has received Brazilian certification for its Beechcraft King Air C90GTi Epic performance package, which includes Raisbeck/Hartzell four-blade quiet turbofan propellers, dual aft body strakes and an increased gross weight of 210kg (460lbs) to 4,790kg. The upgrade is available for all C90A/B, C90GT and C90GTi models. To date, nearly 40% of all new production C90GTi and B200GT owners have had the performance systems installed prior to first delivery, says Raisbeck.
MAINTENANCE APPROVALS
Jet Aviation's recently opened Paris Le Bourget facility has been appointed a Bombardier aircraft on ground line maintenance facility to support the airframer's Learjet, Challenger and Global business aircraft families. Meanwhile, Jet Aviation Hong Kong has expanded its portfolio of US Federal Aviation Administration maintenance type ratings to include the Boeing 737-700/800 and Gulfstream G200 business jets.
PIAGGIO SIGNING
Italian airframer Piaggio has appointed AirFlite Asia as an approved maintenance facility for its P180 Avanti/II twin-engine turboprop fleet in India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
